Electric Picnic Adds Another Few Surprises To The Line-Up

The Electric Picnic announced some of their line-up this morning, but have now made some interesting new additions to festival.

Earlier this morning, the festival announced they would be welcoming Bjork, Fatboy Slim, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and the Eels among others but now they it seems they are certainly catering to a major cult following with the new addition.

My Bloody Valentine are the latest band that will grace Stradbally this August. Arguably one of Ireland’s finest bands, (Loveless is a masterpiece) they bring with them an enormous cult following who will be delighted to see them in a very rare live performance.

Other acts added include The Knife, the electronic Swedish duo, and hip-hop greats, the Wu Tang Clan.

We’re particularly delighted the Cavan foursome, The Strypes, who made such an impact on Jools Holland, have secured a place at the fest.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Saturday the 27^th of April with prices starting at €149.50.
