It's one of the most prestigious awards in the music industry and the nominations for this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize have been announced.
Unfortunately, no Irish acts have made the cut for the 'Album Of The Year' title but some of our favourites have been listed for the £20,000 prize.
The winner will be chosen by a jury of 12 critics, DJs, musicians and other industry figures and will be announced on October 29th.
