The part when the rest of the band decide that they're sick of being a lead singer's shadow and decide to rise up against them in a bid to get more stage time because they deserve it, etc. And that's exactly what The Pussycat Dolls are doing ahead of their (non-confirmed) reunion. And fair enough yeah, you may as well. The band have been rumoured to be in the midst of planning a comeback and although nothing concrete has been confirmed yet, there's already been a bit of chat surrounding the logistics of the reunion. And most notably, who's going to take centre stage. Naturally, it's going to be Nicole Scherzinger. She does most of the singing, she does most of the standing in the front. Things have always been that way. Who are we to question it? Except, as it turns out the other members of the band - Melody Thornton, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta - have been questioning it, and they want things to change ahead of the (non-confirmed) comeback tour. "Before they took a break in 2009, Nicole had become the lead singer of the group," an insider told The Sun.  "It felt natural at the time but now they’re starting planning the tour, some of the girls have demanded Nicole take a back seat. “In the old days Nicole became the stand-out star next to Melody Thornton, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta. But for the reunion, the women want it to be more of a level playing field." The source went on to say that the other members don't want to feel "sidelined" and that they'd like the band's return to be more of a celebration of all members, not just one. Fair enough, yeah. The Pussycat Dolls are expected to embark on a world tour next year to mark their comeback.  Scherzinger has already allegedly signed a multi-million dollar deal to get the gals back together. “Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the ten-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready," said a source last month. "The tour is going to be huge and the group will be playing their greatest hits," said the source. "But there has been talk of the possibility of them recording new music." “It’s in the early stages but now they’re going to be back together, a couple of them, including Nicole, have said they’d be open to working on some new sounds together."
