It seems that Craig David (yes the singer who always wore the beanie, would never sing one word simply and wanted to know what our “flava” was) is making his musical comeback this year.
Let us fill you in, the R&B singer has revealed that he is hoping to have his new album out by the end of this year.
Craig David is planning on releasing his new album this year.
The record would be a follow-up to his 2010 release Signed Sealed Delivered which, don't worry, we don’t really remember either.
He told Pardon My Blog: “It will take the R&B route as that is what I love; the direction is kind of a selection of songs that will eventually cement into an album.” Well that is the general idea of an album.
The singer also said that he would love to work with Drake.
Anyway, the Re-Rewind singer also said that he would love to work with Drake having met him recently.
“We got introduced at a restaurant and we exchanged details and when I’ve got the right record at least now I have his contact. On a record with me and Drake we’d have to go all out,” Craig explained.
Bet the song will go like this: “Met him in a restaurant on Monday, called him to meet on Tuesday, we were making music by Wednesday and on Thursday, Friday, Saturday we released it on Sunday.”
