It seems to be a day for girl bands. Not only are the original Sugababes getting back together but it has been reported that the Spice Girls look likely to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics.
In fact the group are said to be ‘95 per cent confirmed’ for the ceremony which will take place in a matter of weeks. This comes after recent rumours that a Spice Girls reunion was on hold because Victoria Beckham wasn’t up for it.

The last time all five girls sang together was back in 2007.
But according the media today, all five of the girls are on board for the performance which will see the group sing together for the first time in four years.
If all goes to plan the Spice Girls will sing two songs one of which will be their first hit 'Wannabe.' Other acts taking to the stage include Jessie J and Take That.

Take That reformed with all five original members briefly last year.
