Next stop number one!
Last night we reported how over 300 volunteers had gathered to record a version of Elton John’s famous song ‘Tiny Dancer’ in an attempt to clinch the coveted number one spot in the singles chart this Christmas.
The effort is in aid of beautiful four-year-old Lily Mae Morrison, who suffers from neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
The video has quickly spread among Irish media outlets and now a message of support has appeared on both the Elton John facebook page and the website www.eltonjohn.com

The message reads: “A beautiful version of Elton and Bernie's song Tiny Dancer has been recorded in Ireland as a way to raise money for the care of Lily-Mae Morrison, a four year-old Irish girl who has neuroblastoma, a rare and extremely aggressive childhood cancer of the nervous system.
We encourage Elton’s fans to watch the video, like the Tiny Dancer by A Song for Lily-Mae Facebook page, and we especially encourage you to visit iTunes on Friday and buy the song!”
Couldn't have said it better Elton...
