The Voice UK is to introduce a winner's single, in a bid to boost the career of the successful contestant.
Previous winners of the reality show have performed disappointingly in their subsequent careers, with their lack of success often attributed to the delay in releasing new music.
It has now been confirmed that The Voice UK will take a note from rival The X Factor, with a winner's single to be announced during tonight's show.
The track will then be performed by the top two contestants in next week's final.
