The rise to fame of Dublin rock band Kodaline has been nothing short of stratospheric but things look set to reach a whole new level from next week.
The band, also known as Steve Garrigan, Jason Boland, Vinny May and Mark Prendergast, revealed the news earlier today when they posted this image to their social networking sites with the message "We're headed to Hollywood! We're excited to announce we'll be performing on American Idol on Thursday 3/6!".
Kodaline's album 'In A Perfect World' has enjoyed massive worldwide success since its release last June, with single 'All I Want' being featured on Grey's Anatomy and receiving over six million views on YouTube.
