Loved by celebs, Coachella - which takes place every year in April - kicks off the festival season and is usually a good indicator of what Irish festival goers have to look forward to later in the summer when Electric Picnic rolls round.
Although rumours that The Rolling Stones were headliners have been proven false, the list of confirmed acts are more than enough to soften the blow – The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, The Stone Roses, The XX, New Order, Hot Chip amongst others - and read like a bucket list of bands you must see before you die!
And that’s even before you start reading the small print on the festival poster.

But it’s not just the envy inducing line-up that draws the crowds in year-after-year. Set in the desert and drenched in sunshine, Coachella also packs a celebrity punch and the outfit watching is almost an event in itself and sparks our summer long obsession with planning our own festival wardrobe.

So, how much will a ticket set you back? Tickets go on sale on January 29th and will set you back around €260 ($349) for a three-day pass. It’s pricey but well worth it if you can afford the flights!
