#My90sChristmasList is blowing up on Twitter and we're loving the nostalgia

We all love a trip down memory lane…

The 90s was a gas decade. The music, the style, the overconsumption of Sunny D, what a time to be alive!

The era was also the golden age of entertainment and looking back on it now, we had some pretty cool toys back in the day. Twitter recently went mad for the hashtag “My 90s Christmas List” so with that we’ve compiled the ten best things you might have been looking to find in your stocking on Christmas day.

1) Beanie Babies:

The plush toys came into circulation in around 1993 and rapidly grew in popularity. People’s collections of the soft toys accrued in their masses.

2) Bop It:

HOURS of entertainment! Our poor parents having to put up with the noise though…

3) The Game Boy:

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since the Game Boy Color arrived in the UK. ?: @harik87 #GameBoy #Nintendo #NintendoUK

Apparently, it’s been twenty years since the Game Boy Colour arrived in the UK and we’re feeling old…

4) Furby:

Furby was the first robotic toy to really achieve mainstream popularity and they were a much-coveted item. When you look at the now though, we can’t help but think they’re a little creepy!

5) Easy-Bake Oven:

These lightbulb cookers have been around since the 60s, but retained their popularity amongst 90s kids. Countless other devices and sets helped you make “edible” things (had you the patience and lack of taste buds required to actually consume what you made). Molly the Milkshake Maker was also a winner back in the day!

6) Etch A Sketch

Hats off to you if you ever managed to draw anything remotely impressive on this!

7) Space Hopper

Even as kids, we’d get fiercely competitive when it came to Swingball. Especially during summer, we’d spend ALL of our time out in the garden with this epic toy.

Is it just us or is anyone else suddenly wishing for a few of these for Christmas?!
