Nadine Coyle says the worst thing that could happen in I’m A Celeb is ‘death’

Jade Hayden

She’s not wrong.

This Sunday, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here will be kicking off.

That means we’ve only got a whole five more days (5!) before we are reunited with our pals Ant and Dec, some creepy crawlies, and a whole host of minor (and some major) celebs waiting to get absolutely ruined in the Australian jungle.

Among them will be Nadine Coyle, of Girls Aloud fame.

Nadine is a great singer. She’s also Irish, which makes her at least 55 percent better than the other members of the group. And as well as that, she’s also a bit gas.

As per the below interaction with an I’m A Celeb producer, who asked Nadine what the worst thing that could happen to her in the jungle would be.

She responded honestly: “Death.”

Or, if you want to get into it, Nadine – maybe somebody getting a hold of your passport and revealing your true age on national TV would also be pretty bad.

But hey, who are we to speculate? The passport jokes are sure to be rife among Ant and Dec this year, regardless.

As well as this candid response, Nadine added that although she is afraid of many things, she wants to test herself in the jungle this year, and attempt to become as fearless as she once was.

“I really want to try something completely new. I am scared of so many things,” she said.

“I used to be brave. In the past, I’ve opened a restaurant, had a record label, had my daughter and it was go, go, go with all of these.

“Now I have got so fearful even being in the car, flying or general things. I think it is since I became a parent that I am much more afraid.

“I really hope that by doing this, it pushes me so far out the comfort zone and that I learn to be comfortable, feel relaxed and do the things that I didn’t used to be afraid of.”

Nadine added that she doesn’t think she’ll cope very well with ants – or snakes, for that matter.

“I’m not good with heights at all,” she added.

“I have to say, I have one of those phobias where if you’re looking over something you get this overwhelming urge to get closer and then you don’t really know what to do with yourself so you try to get low, get on the ground and hope that it passes.”

Listen, g’luck, girl.

I’m A Celeb kicks off this Sunday, November 17 on Virgin Media One.
