Netflix have given Santa Clarita Diet fans the best Valentine’s Day gift ever: the release date for season three – and it is so soon.
Yes, that’s right: Santa Clarita Diet season three will be on Netflix on Friday, March 29.
The announcement was made alongside a Valentine’s Day-themed short video montage, showing the Hammond’s putting a zombified spin on traditional wedding vows.
Is it just us, or does Joel not look too keen when Sheila asks him to take her to be his wife “for the next thousand years or so”?

The series follows Joel and Sheila Hammond, husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby.
That is, until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way.
Santa Clarita Diet stars Drew Barrymore as Sheila Hammond, Timothy Olyphant as Joel Hammond, Liv Hewson as Abby Hammond and Skyler Gisondo as Eric Bemis.
Showrunner Victor Fresco, Drew Barrymore, Timothy Olyphant, Aaron Kaplan, Tracy Katsky, Chris Miller and Ember Truesdell are executive producers on the series. Nancy Juvonen is a producer. Santa Clarita Diet is a Netflix production.
