EastEnders – RTÉ One (8.00pm) Shabnam doesn’t get the promotion she wanted, Stacey makes a statement to the police and Jane is worried about her wedding day. Silent Witness – BBC One (9.00pm) The team have to work with a young detective when the nanny of a Russian oligarch is killed in an assassination attempt. Gotham – RTÉ 2 (9.00pm) In the first episode of this new crime thriller based on the characters in the Batman comics, detective James Gordon wants to prove himself. The Interpreter – TG4 (9.00pm) Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn star in this political flick about a translator who believes she has stumbled across assassination plans.
