Noooo! Coronation Street has revealed the reason Eva Price leaves Weatherfield

The time has finally arrived.

Coronation Street's Eva Price is set to leave Weatherfield next week - without even saying farewell to her family. According to The Sun, she will break the news to smitten Adam Barlow after he offers her and her daughter Susie a room in the flat he shares with Daniel Osbourne. The character, played by Catherine Tyldesley, is touched by his offer - but, ultimately, declines. She later reveals to him that she has decided to leave Weatherfield for good, since she thinks that that Toyah is having a tough time separating herself from her infant daughter Susie. She tells her smitten ex that she feels it is best for everyone if she leaves - and, instead of saying goodbye, leaves a letter for Leanne and Toyah to find. Catherine Tyldesley announced she was going to be exiting the soap in December last year to pursue other roles. However, it is not immediately clear if this will actually be the last time we see Eva. During a recent TV interview, Catherine said that her final scenes are set to air in August - so it may be too early to say farewell just yet. And, much to the delight of Eva fans, she didn't rule out a return to the cobbles.
