Filming has officially begun on one of the most anticipated films of 2015, with the first photo emerging from the set of Magic Mike XXL.
The original, starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello, has quickly become a favourite in the Her DVD collection and the new movie will be released in Ireland in August of next year.
While Tatum had previously confirmed that sequel would be going ahead, a tweet from cinematographer Peter Andrews this week revealed that the cast and crew are currently filming in Florida.

Director Steven Soderburgh had claimed that he would not be returning for the film but the rumour mill has it that ‘Peter Andrews’ is one of the legendary director’s aliases and it was he who shared the snap.
One man whose involvement in the film is still in doubt is Oscar-winner McConaughey, who has still not signed on the dotted line for a return.
