Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta have reunited as their iconic Grease characters.

The pair played Sandy Olsson and Danny Zucko in the beloved 1978 musical. And, 41 years old, they slipped back into their characters for a sing-along event in Florida.

Newton-John wore a pale yellow cardigan and midi-skirt, with a white belt around her waist and a white button-up shirt.

Meanwhile, Travolta was wearing all black – and a similar-style leather jacket to the one his character wore in the film.

The actress posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram, where she shared her excitement about the reunion.

“First time in costume since we made the movie,” she wrote alongside the photo. “So excited!!”

The mini reunion comes a few months after it was confirmed that a Grease spin-off was officially in the works.

According to EW, the musical series Grease: Rydell High has been given a series order at HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max.

Inspired by the iconic film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, the series will be set in the 1950s when “the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds still rule the school.”

And the series will have a mix of  “some characters you already know, and a whole lot more you will soon meet.”
