One of this year’s Love Island contestants is ‘training’ to win a spot on Strictly Come Dancing

And it's not quite who we expected.

She caused a storm when she walked into the Love Island villa this year. And it looks like Ellie Jones, Jack Fincham's ex, is set to swap villa life for a spin on the dance floor - as she is said to be in training to win a spot on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.  MailOnline report that the former Love Island contestant recently went to some dance studios in Baker Street, where she trained with Dancing with the Stars presenter Gary Edwards and impress Strictly scouts. A source told the publication:

"Ellie is a natural for Strictly. She’s a stunning and curvaceous brunette with a Strictly tan already to go from her time on Love Island. "And she went to classes as a child so she’s been dancing since she was seven-years old. "But she’s also a really down to earth and lovely girl who grabbed the opportunity to go on Love Island with both hands within days of getting the first call from producers. "Now she’s keen to try and go one step further and compete for the famous glitter ball trophy."

Ellie entered this season of Love Island as part of the Casa Amor twist. Following her exit, she claimed that she was "encouraged" to try and split up the villa's longstanding couple, Jack and Dani.
