One of the stars of Riverdale was a ‘surprise’ performer at Coachella

There's even a video of the performance.

While everyone was buzzing over Ariana Grande's surprise appearance at Coachella over the weekend, there was another famous face who took to the main stage. Riverdale's KJ Apa picked up the guitar to join Kygo on Friday night during the DJ's performance of It Ain't Me.  The Kiwi actor first teased the appearance on Instagram on Thursday night, writing:

"See ya on stage with @kygomusic."

And fans were only delighted after he appeared on Coachella's main stage. Footage of the performance has been doing the rounds on social media, with social media users saying he "slayed" the performance. One person wrote:

"Oh my god @kj_apa just slayed it. His solo was so incredible and wow wow wow I’m so proud of him. That guitar solo was everything."
