Oprah Winfrey confirms she is 'definitely not running for president'
Our hopes and dreams of seeing Oprah becoming president of the United States are now well and truly crushed.
While on Jimmy Kimmel yesterday, the talk show host and global star, Oprah Winfrey confirmed she will "definitely not" be running for presidency in 2020.
People's hopes of the star running for presidency all started last month when fans lit up Twitter with calls for her to run for president in 2020 after she gave an inspiring speech at the Golden Globe awards show in support of those who have exposed sexual misconduct.
If Oprah were to run for presidency in 2020 it would be against Donald Trump and therefore Trump himself had to give his two cents on the matter by tweeting about Oprah while she while she led a panel of 14 Republican, Democrat and independent voters from Grand Rapids, Michigan in a wide ranging discussion about Trump’s first year in office on CBS.
The president said:
Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

But regardless of his opinion, Oprah admitted she will not be running and never intended to however, she acknowledged the thought, saying: "I am the kind of person who tries to listen to signs. I think, well am I supposed to run the country? I don’t think so"... to which her fans in the audience screamed "you are".
Ahh, maybe someday.
