The Love Island final took place last night and that’s it, all over for another year.
However, the Love Island Twitter hashtag is still generating lots of observations, opinions and thoughts about the reality show that literally took over people’s lives this summer (no exaggeration, people were planning their lives around that 9 pm TV slot).
Of course, people are still mad to know every little detail about each couple and sometimes, you can easily miss side-eyed looks, quick exchanges and comments between the contestants.
There was one such moment between Wes and Laura last night when Laura compared Wes to kissing a frog (OUCH) and of course, people only loved the drama.
She started chatting about how through life and loves, you encounter some up and downs such as kissing “a few frogs”.
However, it was the casual addition of “no offence Wes” that had people in bits altogether, as you’ll see from the following tweets.
‘i had to kiss a few frogs. no offence wes’ dead at laura ??

However, others thought she didn’t mean to call Wes a frog and it happened unintentionally.
Bless Laura’s face when she realised she technically called Wes a frog ?? #LoveIsland

You could look at it both ways, we guess. As you’ll remember, Wes and Laura originally coupled up but things quickly changed when Megan arrived at the Love Island villa.
