Okay so we’re literally counting down the days (and hours, and minutes) until Peaky Blinders returns to us.
And it does seem as though that day is getting closer and closer.
Anyway, last week we got a sneak peak into the new season, and this week we’re getting even more information.
Th official Instagram page for Peaky Blinders shared a snap last night, giving fans of the show some major hints.
Basically, we are foreseeing a major death in the series.
The image of a revolver and a blood-spattered clapper-board was shared, along with the caption:
“First day back on set for #PeakyBlinders Series 5. You’re sure of a big surprise.”

The snap also revealed that Anthony Byrne is back in the director’s chair, having worked on previous episodes.
Anyway, what can we expect from the fifth season of Peaky Blinders?
The official synopsis for season five reads:
“Series five of Steven Knight’s crime family saga finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929.”
“Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere.”
