Top Gear started back last night with new hosts Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.
People were very excited to see the popular motoring show return after it took a break and got rid of its hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.
With the new revamped show, all eyes were on Chris and Matt, who had very big shoes to fill. But it seems like people were not impressed one bit with the new show.
They’ve taken to Twitter to voice their opinions giving the show a new name of ‘Flop Gear’.
I was wrong. Last night’s #TopGear was so awful I actually had nightmares about it in my sleep. #FlopGear

Well, the new Top Gear is dismal. Chris Evans is unbearable when you can see him. Skin crawlingly unbearable

Oh god Chris Evans needs to have his own personality to make TopGear better. Bloody boring.

Get rid of Chris Evans and its not a bad show. His shouting was way too annoying. Matt Le Blanc not bad. #TopGear

Last night’s Top Gear was appalling. Nothing new and Chris Evans was trying too hard to sound like Clarkson #TopGear

I hate that Chris Evans is basically copypasta-ing old #TopGear. You can do something new dammit. Don’t ruin the history by halfassing it.

Torn between turning up the volume to hear the cars, and muting it, to make the sound of Chris Evans’ voice stop. #TopGear

I knew Top Gear would be bad, but this is utterly unwatchable, mostly thanks to Chris Evans

So a job that was covered by 3 individuals is now being done by 6. #BBC #TopGear is looking like #FlopGear … Change is good but this is ?
