People weren't overly impressed with Richard Madeley's comments about Lucy Verasamy's dress.

The presenter appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier today where Madeley made a couple of comments about Verasamy's dress. The weathergirl was wearing a denim dress from ASOS which Madeley first said reminded him of Dolly Parton. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bg3EVchHrHI/?hl=en&taken-by=lucyweather Later on, Madeley then made another comment about the dress saying that they were "still getting messages about that outfit" from viewers. Verasamy then joked that she thought the outfit was a bad choice saying: “I’m a bit worried it's going to shrink in the rain, which was not the greatest move for the weather today!” Madeley responded saying: "I think you should pop outside at once and test it out!” https://twitter.com/GMB/status/978861910950019073 While some viewers may have been taken with Verasamy's dress, others weren't all that taken with Madeley's comments. The comments came before Madeley interviewed Celebs Go Dating's Nadia Essex. During the segment, Essex referenced the #MeToo movement which exposed much sexual assault and harassment in Hollywood and elsewhere.
