Major.
If you grew up in the nineties you will fondly remember the Playstation Classic.
It was light grey and pretty iconic.
And now, 25 years after the release of the OG of game consoles, Sony is re-releasing the Playsation Classic.
The new ‘PlayStation Classic’ is set for release on December 3, and we know what we want for Christmas.
The device will cost €85 (not bad) and will come pre-loaded with 20 “genre-defining” games.
We’re talking Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, and Ridge Racer Type 4.
So long social life, it was nice knowing you…
Introducing #PlayStationClassic, a miniaturised version of the original PS console which comes with 20 preloaded games, including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3 and Ridge Racer Type 4.

Along with the pre-loaded console, you will also get two classic PS1 controllers, so you can play with your mates (if you feel like it.)
In s statement, Sony said:
“The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and it emulates the original’s look and feel by featuring similar controllers and packaging.”
“Long-time fans will appreciate the nostalgia that comes with rediscovering the games they know and love, while gamers who might be new to the platform can enjoy the groundbreaking PlayStation console experience that started it all. All of the pre-loaded games will be playable in their original format.”
What a time to be alive!
