Pretty Little Liars is officially back on Netflix in Ireland after it ‘disappeared briefly’

Keeley Ryan

It’s been more than a year and a half since Pretty Little Liars came to an end.

And we miss it, we really do.

There was a final A unmasking, punches thrown, lives saved, a wedding, one last twisted reveal and a tear-filled group hug – and then it was all over for Pretty Little Liars fans.

But, thanks to Netflix, we were able to rewatch Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Ali’s adventures in Rosewood any time we wanted.

However, when the clock stuck midnight on January 1, eagle-eyed Pretty Little Liars fans noticed that the series had suddenly vanished from Netflix.

And people were not happy.

Thankfully, that now looks to have changed.

Netflix confirmed on Wednesday night that the series was now back – yes, all seven seasons – after a brief disappearance.

In good news for fans, they added that Pretty Little Liars is “going nowhere anytime soon”.

The news comes ahead of the premiere of the Pretty Little Liars spinoff, The Perfectionists.

The original Freeform description for the series, which is due to premiere later this year, reads:

“Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents.

“But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder.

“Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.”

Two of the Liars from the original series – Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) and Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) – are set to return.
