The very first teaser trailer for the new season of Love Island is officially here, this is not a drill.
The hit ITV dating is set to return to our screens for the longest season to date on June 6th, complete with an entirely new location.
Taking to Instagram to get us more excited than we should be, ITV posted the first teaser trailer and it looks like it’s poking a bit of fun at other dating shows like Celebs Go Dating and Ex On The Beach.
In the clip, we see a giant footstep on a screen that says: “Naked Celebs Go Dating On A Beach.”

The theme song we know and love then starts playing, along with “Love, we own it” appearing on the screen.
The Love Island account captioned the post: “The only love you need in your life this summer ??? #LoveIsland.”
The new series of Love Island is set to air on June 6th and will be on our screens for 10 weeks on ITV2 and Virgin Media One.
“Love Island is coming back with a bang and it will begin on the second full week in June,” the source claimed.
The source added that “fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6.”
“This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting,” they told The Sun.
