Queer Eye returns to Netflix on New Year’s Eve

Can you believe?

Get the tissues at the ready because the sixth season of Queer Eye returns to Netflix on 31 December.

The reality series reboot, which has been running since 2018, sees Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Antoni Porowski transform the lives of individuals – or, their ‘”heroes” – with their message of self-love.

In the upcoming season, the Fab Five are headed to Texas for some powerful makeovers.

As always, each member of the Queer Eye gang offers to share the wisdom of their own specialty subject. Tan tackles style and clothing. JVN shares their grooming and skincare tips and tricks. Karamo offers a masterclass in self-development. Bobby transforms their living space thoughtfully, while Antoni shares his culinary genius in a practical way.

Speaking ahead of the series, Bobby Berk said that viewers are in for an absolute treat, particularly given the challenges of the past two years.

The interior designer told PEOPLE: “I honestly think it might be our best season yet. The year off was crazy but it did us some good.

“Our heroes have been through a lot in the past year, but to be able to tell those stories, not just personal stories, but business stories, family stories, stories of loss, stories of triumph.”

He added: “The stories all mean a little more this year, I think.”

Also joining the team this year is country music legend Miranda Lambert, who has penned a brand new song in honour of the Fab Five and their heroes.

The track’s launch, which is titled Y’all Means All, coincides with the release of the latest season on 31 December.

Taking to Twitter, Lambert wrote: “Here’s one last surprise for y’all this year! A new song ‘Y’all Means All’ will be out on 12/31 to celebrate the new season of @QueerEye that filmed all in Texas.”
