Radio star Pamela Joyce announced her engagement to her partner, Gavin Moran, on Instagram yesterday, August 4th.
The former Today FM host shared the news on her socials with some endearing snaps.
With true Irish wit, Pamela captioned the post: "Guys, do you think he fancies me?! 27.07.35."
The date suggests that the couple have been engaged to each other for a little over a week, but have decided to keep it a secret until now.
The newly engaged couple were enjoying a trip to Ballynahinch Castle Hotel, along the Wild Atlantic Way, when Gavin decided to get on one knee.
The post shows the couple standing on a gorgeous beach in County Galway with Pamela showing off her gleaming ring.
Pamela said farewell to her popular lunchtime slot on Today FM almost two years ago, as the 32-year-old presenter missed Galway and wanted to move back to be closer to her family.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the station said: "Pamela Joyce has made the decision to say goodbye to her lunchtime radio show on Today FM.
"Pamela’s moving back west to focus on her life and new opportunities.
"It’s been an absolute pleasure to have Pamela as part of the Today FM team and on-air lineup, and we wish her the very best in whatever comes next.
"Today FM will announce a new lunchtime show in due course."
