Robert Preston to be ‘arrested for murdering Vicky’ in tonight’s Corrie

Robert Preston is set to be arrested for the murder of Vicky Jeffries in tonight's Coronation Street. 

The former bistro's last few weeks have seen him jilted at the altar by Michelle Connor - who used her vows to confront him about his affair with Vicky, who is expecting Robert's child - lose the ownership of the bistro and be accused of murdering Vicky. And according to Metro, Friday night's episode will see him arrested - with the cops getting ready to charge him with murder.   And with Michelle telling the police how Robert is quick to temper, and seemingly unwilling to step forward to help him out, things aren't looking too good for him. The last time viewers saw Vicky on-screen was when she had an angry row with Robert in the lead up to his and Michelle's wedding. The then-groom-to-be assured Michelle that Vicky wouldn't around to ruin their wedding - and it turns out he was right... Tristan Gemmill, who plays Robert Preston, announced in April this year that he would be exiting the ITV soap. You can read more about that here.
