So last night, the gorgeous Rod Stewart was a guest on the Late Late Show. The iconic singer sat down with Ryan to chat about life, love and the music he's so famous for. And one song in particular, means the most to him. Grace, as we know it, is a song about Joseph Mary Plunkett marrying his love, Grace, before being executed. It's a song that Rod Stewart covered, and released. During his chat with Ryan, he spoke about why he loves the song so much, highlighting that it's "the greatest love story" ever. We kind of agree, it's also incredibly moving. Anyway, Ryan wanted to give Rod Stewart a special gift, as a thank you for doing the Irish song such justice. "We were trying to think of something as a present we could give to you because we like what you've done with that story," Tubridy said. "So we've found a collection of poetry by Joseph Mary Plunkett and it was published in 1916, it's a first edition and it's our gift from us to you." The singer was visibly emotional as he received the gift and said, "That is truly amazing, thank you so much."
