It’s not officially Christmas until Rudolph is on the news!
With all the doom and gloom that happened in 2016, it’s so nice to see reports on the news that make you smile.
Earlier this year, TG4 did a little festive nod to Halloween, with weather forecaster Caitlin Nic Aodha surprising the nation with her sudden disappearance from our television screens.

On this evening’s 6 o’clock news, news presenter Sharon Ní Bheoláin introduced a news item on the discovery of a particular animal.
Sharon told viewers that there been sightings of a new strange deer with a red nose, firstly in Killarney, Co. Kerry and also in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.
Deer keeper Terry Moore confirmed he’d never seen the peculiar looking reindeer and as crowds began to gather in Phoenix Park, the deer magically disappeared.
