On this evening's 6 o'clock news, news presenter Sharon Ní Bheoláin introduced a news item on the discovery of a particular animal. Sharon told viewers that there been sightings of a new strange deer with a red nose, firstly in Killarney, Co. Kerry and also in Dublin's Phoenix Park.
