RTÉ are reportedly planning a new women-led panel show.
According to The Irish Mirror, the new show is expected to have a panel of well-known women, similar to that of ITV's Loose Women or TV3's Midday.
A source told the newspaper: "The show is still in the development stage and nothing is set in stone, but it is definitely an option as we hope to build on the success of the Today programme and encourage viewers to tune in earlier and stay tuned for both programmes.”
The only female TV personality linked with the show is Twink (Adele King) but she has told the newspaper that she hasn't heard anything about it yet.
She said, "It would be nice to be asked and then I could decide whether I would say yes or no. So far they haven't approached me to take part".
