If you read that headline and went into shock and/or outrage pretty much immediately, we can completely understand that. We went through pretty much the same range of emotions here in the office.
Barely off the back of the announcements about the Justice League, the title for the new Batman vs Superman film and the possible new characters, there is now a rumour floating around that Ben Affleck will soon be in a solo Batman project.
According to Total Film, when Ben Affleck signed up for the role as Batman, he signed up for multiple films which would obviously include The Justice League upcoming film.
Total Film are now claiming that we might have a solo Batman film by 2019 and apparently it’s going to be called, wait for it, The Batman.
Another rumour floating around is that Ben Affleck may also direct the project, which could make things a little easier for everyone.
We’re not ready. Batman vs Superman: The Dawn of Justice will get a release here in April 2016.
