Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Scott both score Golden Globe nominations

The awards will take place next month.

Irish actors Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Scott have both been nominated for Golden Globe awards.

This is Saoirse’s fourth Golden Globe nomination. In 2018, she won Best Actress – Musical or Comedy for her role in Lady Bird where she played the character Christine Lady Bird McPherson.

This time around, the 25-year-old has been nominated for Best Actress – Drama for her performance in Little Women.

Andrew Scott has received a nomination in the television category for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the dark comedy, Fleabag.

Meanwhile, Marriage Story, which became available on Netflix over the weekend, is leading the nominations in the film categories with a total of six nods. The Irishman and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood have received five nominations respectively. The Joker has received three.
