Sarah Harding criticises modern girl bands for revealing outfits

"Now it’s just slut dropping and twerking."

A tad harsh?

Sarah Harding has criticised modern girl bands on Celebrity Big Brother.

The singer, formerly of Girls Aloud, didn’t hold back when housemate Chad asked whether she knew of US girl group Fifth Harmony;

“They all wear next to nothing, all the modern girl bands do. It’s just ‘sex sells, sex sells’,” she said.

“We used to have proper dance routines now it’s just slut-dropping and twerking.”

She admitted that Girls Aloud sometimes wore revealing clothes on stage, “but only because it was so hot.”

Sarah also confessed that she struggled to keep up with dance routines while she was in the band.

“I wasn’t as dance-trained as three of the other girls, two of us were more singers than dancers so I used to do extra time with my routines,” she said.

“Tour rehearsals for me were so tough. I used to have a mini meltdown at some point during every four weeks. Everyone would be dreading, like ‘oh God, here we come, Sarah’s going to have a little meltdown when she can’t pick up the routine’.”
