Will there be a second season of The Perfect Couple?

The Perfect Couple is one of the most-watched shows on Netflix this month

The gripping murder mystery has become one of the most-watched shows on Netflix this September but everyone is wondering if it will return for a second season.

The series only had six episodes which simply didn't feel like enough.

The show is based on the Elin Hilderbrand novel of the same name and had us hooked from the very first episode.

And as wonderful as it was, we can't help but feel like it needed a handful more episodes. So much happened in the six episodes which made it feel a little bit too intense.

Fans are hoping the show may return following its major success but Netflix has yet to confirm more episodes.

One wrote: "Just finished watching The Perfect Couple and this is one of those times when Netflix gets it right and releases a masterpiece. Dakota was the star of the show."

"I need a season two of the perfect couple!!!!" another said.

"I’m still up watching the Perfect Couple on Netflix, it’s so good I can’t turn it off," another wrote.

The synopsis reads:

'A lavish wedding in Nantucket ends tragically before it even begins when a body washes up on the beach the morning of the ceremony, and everyone staying at the house for the weekend is a suspect.'

The Perfect Couple is based on the 2018 book by New York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand.

The series stars Nicole Kidman and Eve Hewson, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, and Dakota Fanning.

Ishaan Khatter, Billy Howle, and Jack Reynor also star in the murder mystery.
