Wait, what?!

*Warning! This piece contains spoilers from season one… and season two. So, you know, proceed with caution and all that.*

It was one of our favourite shows from 2017 and we’re eagerly awaiting the second season of Big Little Lies, however, we won’t say this rumoured plot has us a little confused.

While the five killer leading women (pun intended) will obviously be making a welcome return, but it seems there are another one of last season’s cast members who’ll be appearing in season two.

According to reports, Alexander Skarsgard could be returning next season.

Yep, we know, he died – right?

Well, according to TVLine, the actor who played abuser and all-around sociopath, Perry Wright, is going to be back in season two and not just in flashbacks as we immediately presumed.

Skarsgard himself teased his return recently while speaking to People, saying:

“I don’t even know if I’m really dead or not. I feel OK right now but we’ll see.”

Yes, while we may have all breathed a sigh of relief that Perry was gone, we might have to put up with him for another season.

However, he won’t be returning to our screens any time soon. Unfortunately, it’s been confirmed that Big Little Lies season two won’t air until 2019.
