What a gent.

According to reports, Simon Cowell has donated £25,000 to help two-year-old Kian Musgrove, who suffers from neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that usually affects children.

Kian is battling neuroblastoma for the second time and when Simon heard of the situation, he called Kian’s mother, Kat, and pledged to help her son.

Speaking to Chronicle Live, Kat said: “I can’t believe it, I have tears streaming down my face.

“He just called up and said he wanted to help and said he would drop £25,000 into our fundraising account.

“I’m still trying to get my head around it all. He was so nice and kind and just said he wanted to do something to help”.

The publication reports that Newcastle native Kian is in need of specialist treatment in New York which could cost in excess of £500,000.

His mother Kat was bowled over by the gesture from TV’s Mr Nasty (who needs to be renamed Mr Nice) saying: “It was such a lovely surprise which has come at such a difficult time. This means so much.

“I want to thank everyone who has donated, everyone has been incredibly kind”.
