This is so fetch.

Ten years after Tina Fey created the sleeper hit turned teen comedy classic, the cast of Mean Girls have reunited.

The core cast of Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert, along with writer/star Fey assembled for a special “Reunions” issue of Entertainment Weekly.

A decade after mantras like “On Wednesdays we wear pink” entered the global lexicon, the cast shared their memories of filming with the publication.

The beloved comedy could have looked very different, as Lohan admitted that she really wanted the role of Regina. She said: “I had just played—in Confessions and Freaky—not the cool girl in school. I was still 17 years old and I wanted to be the cool girl on set”, while Lacey Chabert said she believed she was wrong for the part of Gretchen and Rachel McAdams divulged that she originally auditioned for the part of Cady.

Fey also told how the cast were a tightly-knit bunch for the duration of filming, all staying in the same hotel. Seyfried, who was only 17 at the time of filming, said that Lacey Chabert had looked after her on set: “I had just graduated high school! It was terrifying. I don’t know what I would have done without Lacey Chabert. She was my angel. She took me in, and we’d hang out in her trailer and listen to Dido.”

On the legacy of the film, Rachel McAdams told a story about a recent stay in “a bed-and-breakfast recently in the-middle-of-nowhere Ireland”. According to McAdams, one of the owners’ granddaughters came up to her, gave her a piece of pink paper and said, “Can you write down just a few of your favorite Mean Girls quotes?”

She added: “It was so sweet. I couldn’t think of any of them! It’s been 10 years! So I said, “Well, what are your favorites?” So she literally fed me all these lines, like “Is butter a carb?””

The actresses who brought The Plastics to live also shared where they believed their characters would be now…

Lindsay Lohan: “Cady’s with Oprah in Africa working at children’s schools with a family, teaching girls to be nice to each other.”

Rachel McAdams: Regina is a Real Housewife. She’d have too much time on her hands, for sure. She’s probably found all her other Reginas.”

Amanda Seyfried: “Karen would manage or own a store that sells really cool dog attire, like Swarovski dog collars and Halloween costumes for animals. She’s probably really focused.”

Lacey Chabert: “Gretchen is probably running the Toaster Strudel empire. She is probably married and has, like, seven babies right now. She and Jason worked it out. She has very big curly hair.”
