She’s been lying through Connor’s TEETH.
Get it? Because his teeth are massive.
It all kicked off in Love Island last night, or at least kicked off as much as producers could make it kick off on a show that really hasn’t been all that dramatic, but sure listen.
During the episode, we saw the proper introduction of Rebecca. We saw Callum denying calling Rebecca sexy. And we saw plenty of Tracy Barlow memes.
We also saw Sophie fully lying to Connagh Wiv A G about having a kiss with OG Connor – as if she wasn’t entirely going to get caught out regardless, seeing as she is literally on the television.
It all went down when Connaugh asked her – to her face, nonetheless – if she had kissed Connor.
“You had a kiss with him last night, didn’t you?” he asked, to which Sophie replied: “No, I had a kiss with him in the challenge.”
A lie. Completely.
“The dancing challenge?” asked Connaugh. “Someone told me, so I was just wondering if that was the case. It was just in the challenge was it?”
Sophie then decided to own up to her lie and admitted that she did, as we all know, kiss Connor outside of the challenge.
“I don’t want it to sound like it was sneaky,” she said. “We had a kiss in the challenge and after he got back from his date.
“I’m such an awkward person, I can’t even deal. Actual shit just came out of my mouth.”
Connaugh then replied, clearly not all that impressed: “I would much rather you just be straight with me. We’ve known each other how long? You don’t have to lie to me. I can take the truth.”
And yet, despite the simple fact that Sophie and Connaugh have known each other for a rather impressive six days, she apparently didn’t think that was long enough to provide him with the truth.
Shame.
