MTV has ordered 20 new episodes of the iconic celebrity prank show that saw Drake lose his mind during an 'earthquake' and left Justin Timberlake sobbing on the floor of his mansion.
The only thing is that the show is returning as an exclusive to Quibi, a “mobile-first media technology platform."
It's on there that viewers will be able to watch the new 10 minute episodes whenever they go live.
No, Ashton hasn't been confirmed to host, and no, we're not even sure if this reboot of sorts is going to be any good but hey, if it's got celebrities freaking out in a control environment, it's got to be at least mildly entertaining.
Right?
Punk'd ran for four years between 2003 and 2007, eventually returning for a brief stint in 2012.
During that time, Frankie Muniz, Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift, Nick Carter, John Cena, and countless more were subjected to the Kutcher treatment.
It was solid enough viewing and, unfortunately, the likelihood of that magic being recreated is fairly low.
We'll still watch though.
Maybe.Everyone has the same issue with The Housemaid movie
