Every 90s kid knows that the Kenan and Kel theme tune means school is over and you are officially chilling out…
And the line “Kenan and Kel was recorded in front of a live audience at Nickelodeon Studios Orlando at Universal Studios, Florida” meant it was time to do your homework. Sadface.
Kenan and Kel first aired on Nickelodeon in 1996.
The iconic Nickelodeon show ended in 2001 after five orange-soda-filled years.
However, speaking at this year’s Comic Con, Kel Mitchell told Digital Spy that he is definitely up for a reunion.
Kel spoke at this year’s Comic Con in LA.
He said: “Yeah, I think that would be awesome. I mean, I’m into it. That’d be cool, man.
You just gotta get Kenan into it, see if he’d be into it. That’d be a lot of fun.”
Although Kel and his co-star Kenan Thompson are in their late 30s now, we totally think this would work.
A little reminder of why we love this show so much.
1. Kel’s love of orange soda.
2. The best store in the world – Rigbys.
3. Kel’s calamities.
4. Kenan’s sassy little sister, Kyra.
5. The absolute scandal, every episode.
