Add us as a preferred source on Google »Strictly Come Dancing viewers were less than impressed with Sunday night's results show after singer Shayne Ward was axed from the show.
Viewers were stunned to see the former X Factor champion eliminated from the competition.
Ward faced opera singer Wynne Evans in the dance-off last night but missed out on making it to Blackpool after head judge Shirley saved the Welsh presenter.
Viewers were furious with the results with many saying Shayne Ward deserved to remain in the competition.
One said: "You have got to be kidding me...that has to be a joke? Shayne is a million times better dancer than Wynne!! Now tell me the judges haven't got their favourites and there's no agenda to get him to Blackpool."
"If the dance off ends up in 2 votes for each couple it should then go back to the public vote to decide who goes. Shirley should not have the final say!" another said.
Another added: "Wrong decision but Rhumba is always the kiss of death in a dance-off. The show needs a re-format, wrong people end up in dance-offs, & there should always be an odd number of judges so Head judge can't overrule majority decision.
A third viewer wrote: "I have to disagree with Anton and Shirley tonight, I felt Shayne's dance off performance was much better than Wynne's. Wynne made a few mistakes and went out of time which is unusual from him."
Others slammed head judge Shirley Ballas after she chose to save Wynn because his dance was "more joyous".
"Total fix on Shirley’s part! Shayne was far better than Wynn in the dance-off," another said.
Shayne has not spoken publically since he was eliminated from the show.
The first split decision of the series by the judges. 😬

Craig was right in picking Shayne as the "Better Dancer"
Shirley choosing Wynne over Shayne though for a more joyous dance was invalid when it should be about technique in the dance off. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing pic.twitter.com/YLrU94Ox4I
