With Mrs Brown Boys D’Movie set for release on June 27th, now is the perfect time to find out the back story behind Mrs Brown.

From June 16th until July 20th, the Little Museum of Dublin is home to an exhibition charting the life of Mrs Brown aka Brendan O Carroll.

“Our goal was to engage people who have never even heard of Mrs Brown,” says the curator of the exhibition, Kimberley Foy.

“That’s why there’s so much focus on Brendan’s parents, whose stories reveal much about Dublin in the middle of the last century. We wanted to make a chapter of social history as well as a backstage tour.”

Much loved Irish mammy, Agnes Brown, is set to hit the big screen in June as her escapades have captured the hearts of people across the world.

The catchphrase “that’s nice” is just one of her many mannerisms and we can’t wait to see what else in store from the woman of the moment.
