The first look at Chris Hemsworth’s new Netflix movie Extraction is here.

The “action-packed, edge-of-your-seat” thriller officially lands on the streamings service on April 24.

The Aussie actor stars as Tyler Rake, a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose, whose skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.

But in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy.

The film is produced by Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, Chris Hemsworth, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwerin.

The 36-year-old actor told USA Today that while working on the film was physically and emotionally exhausting, it also “awakened the young teenager in me again.”

“Not to say I’m pushing my limits or I’m over the hill in any way, but you notice through the years things like, ‘Ooooh, there’s a little hitch in my knee that wasn’t there before.’ Or a tweak in my shoulder I didn’t notice,” he explained.

“But I felt like it reenergised me. It was a kick in the (butt) to say, ‘Come on, there’s still plenty more in the tank.’ ”

And while there’s still a little while to go until Extraction hits Netflix, you can find the full list of March additions right here.

The new additions include Tiger King, the docuseries from the producer for FYRE that has been called “the wildest story you’ll never believe.”
