Executive producers Max Mutchnick, David Kohan and James Burrows said in a statement [via Deadline]:
“We think of the Will & Grace [revival] episodes the way Karen Walker thinks of martinis — 51 is not enough, 53 is too many. "That is why, after consulting with the cast, we all have decided this will be the final season of Will & Grace.”The sitcom stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullaly. It initially aired for eight seasons, from 1998 until 2006. It was rebooted 11 years later, in 2017 - and, due to the incredible fan reception, was soon renewed for a second and third season. The final season of Will & Grace premieres on Thursday, October 24 in the United States. We're keeping our fingers crossed that an Irish premiere date won't be too far behind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cDxF8kR7H0
