The First Pictures of Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy Have Emerged

She looks phenomenal. Originally pitched as a HBO mini-series, new film Jackie covers the four days between J.F.K.’s assassination and his burial. Natalie Portman is set to take the lead in the bio. The story highlights Jackie Kennedy at her most vulnerable and most graceful. Credit LD Entertainment Producer Darren Aronofsky previously worked with Portman on the 2010 Black Swan. His Protozoa partners Scott Franklin and Ari Handel will also produce, with Fabula Films’ Juan de Dios Larraín set to direct. Peter Sarsgaard will play Robert Kennedy with Greta Gerwig and Beth Grant also confirmed. The film is set for release in 2017.
