The first trailer for Netflix’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot is here and it’s seriously intense

We cannot WAIT for this.

Ever since it was announced a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is being conjured up, we've only been getting little tidbits as to what we can expect. But now that we're just a few weeks away from Sabrina Spellman's return to the small screen, we couldn't be more excited. Or, at least, we thought we couldn't be. Then Netflix released the first trailer for the series, titled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.  https://twitter.com/sabrinanetflix/status/1040238679699206144 The series will launch on Netflix on Friday, October 26, just in time for the Bank Holiday Weekend - and for Hallowe'en. Annnnd...well, it doesn't sound much like the Sabrina we've been used to. OK, it sounds nothing like her at all. With Kieran Shipka set to take over the role previously played by Melissa Joan Hart, the remake is set to have a gritty, darker tone as it will be based on the horror comic The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.  Speaking of the upcoming show, Netflix said:

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. "Tonally in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, this adaption finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature - half witch, half mortal - while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."
