The full trailer for season three of Killing Eve is here – and the news gets even better.

The third season of Killing Eve, which is based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings, continues the story of two women with brutal pasts – each of whom are addicted to each other but now trying desperately to live their lives without their drug of choice.

“For Villanelle, the assassin without a job, Eve is dead. For Eve, the ex-MI6 operative hiding in plain sight, Villanelle will never find her. All seems fine until a shocking and personal death sets them on a collision course yet again,” the series’ description continues.

And it good news for fans, it looks like there won’t be long to wait until new episodes are available.

Yes, the eight-episode third season will be arriving on BBC America and AMC two weeks early – so, on April 12.

There’s still not release date set for when it will be airing in Ireland, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will be sooner rather than later.

Especially since RTÉ recently announced they would have season three of Killing Eve available on the RTÉ Player soon.

“We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now,” Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios said [via Rolling Stone].

“This season of Killing Eve digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing. We literally couldn’t wait for fans to see it.”
