We’re getting some serious Devil Wears Prada vibes.
The first full-length trailer for the Riverdale spin-off, Katy Keene, is here – and it is seriously glam.
Katy Keene stars Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale as the title character (and fashion legend-to-be) and focuses on “the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters as they chase their twenty-something dreams in New York City.”
Singer/songwriter Josie McCoy (played by Riverdale’s Ashleigh Murray), mysterious socialite Pepper Smith (Julia Chan) and Broadway-bound performer Jorge Lopez — and his drag queen alter ego, Ginger (Jonny Beauchamp) — round out the core group of characters.
“While their climb to the top is rife with obstacles, this found family will stop at nothing to see their names in lights,” the official description continues.
The new footage also introduces Katy’s boyfriend, boxing hopeful KO Kelly, as well as Alexander Cabot, a record label CEO who offers Josie the chance to make her dreams come true.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Roswell, New Mexico, In the Dark and the final season of The 100 are all set to be midseason launches.
There’s no word yet on when the series will debut over here (or if it will at all) – but we’re keeping our fingers crossed it won’t be too far behind.
Earlier this year, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa addressed the possibility of a crossover between Riverdale and Katy Keene in an interview with The Wrap.
Weighing in on the possibility of Josie coming back for flashback crossovers, he said it was “more likely” Riverdale characters would be popping up in New York in the future.
“We think that that might be a little more fun, and less confusing, than Josie going back in time to visit Riverdale,” he added.
